Aqua Fitness Classes allows women & men to perform exercises while placing very little weight on the joints opening up a new opportunity for people of all ages, and varying levels of fitness.

These classes can improve your cardiovascular and respiratory system in the same ways as cycling or running. Water is about 800 times denser than air, so it provides about 12 times more resistance. That means the moves you do in the pool can work your entire body, particularly your arms, legs, shoulders, and core.



Apart from people of all ages benefiting from water-based exercises, exercising in the water is particularly great for Seniors.

Seniors, unfortunately, are at a higher risk of developing chronic diseases and therefore for this reason need to look to staying active as a lifestyle so as the help ease many ailments & complications that commonly come with increase in age.

Here at YUE, we offer classes specifically for Seniors, therefore for people who are 60 years of age and over.

These Senior classes would be very beneficial for reducing arthritis and other joint pain because it puts less stress on the joints and the buoyancy of the water helps reduce the pressure. Water also acts as a form of resistance, so strength exercises can be performed in the water without heavy weights.
